Ever since Loud Women introduced me to Argonaut, I have been really digging their sound. The pretty pop indie pop vocal that carries an innocent sounding charm coupled with adult words. Speaking on behalf of the band, Nathan Argonaut says:
“[‘Spring’] aims to capture the essence of regret and hope at the changing of seasons and passing of time.”
It’s a beautiful song and a simple, yet effective video, showing the band chilling out in the spring time grass together. Dave Meyer created the video with his drone apparently. It showcases the quieter sound of the band who brought us the raucous ‘Not Rich.’ Released prior to their Argonaut Club night, they intend to start off their set with acoustic song ‘Spring’ and support The Jen Denitto band and Husky Tones.
Argonaut will be playing live at the Betsey Trotwood, in London, UK on Saturday 15th April 2017.
